The Toyota Corolla Cross is a crossover set to bring SUV practicality to the brand’s most popular passenger car.
Launched in 2020 overseas, it’s designed so that it is visually distinctive from either of its range neighbours – looking a little less futuristic than the C-HR and less rugged than the RAV4.
It will sit between the smaller Yaris Cross and larger RAV4 when it arrives in Australia in late 2022 and will run alongside the C-HR in the small SUV segment.
The all-new model will be available in Australia with a choice of front-wheel-drive petrol and hybrid drivetrains, and an all-wheel-drive that introduces a 2.0-litre hybrid powertrain for the first time in a Toyota vehicle. Both engine options are mated to a continuously variable transmission.
